May Activities
Friday, May 1—St Vincent Pallotti Festival—Yack Arena Wyandotte. Free admission before 6 pm, $5 after 6 pm. 50 Amp
Fuse is the featured entertainment.
Saturday, May 2—Bethany South “Spring Fling Singles Dance”—8 -11:30 pm, Our Lady of the Angels Church, 6442
Pelham Rd. Taylor. $12 admission includes snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. DJ Mike will be playing. Dance
lesson from 7:30 -8 pm with Lowell and Judy. Couples welcome!
Sunday, May 3—Dinner with Friends—Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Meet 5 pm Mexican Garden Restaurant , 15950
Eureka Rd. Southgate.
Friday, May 8—Bethany South Elections and Ice Cream Social 7:00 pm. Cost is $3. Game night will follow. Peace
Lutheran Church, 12250 Fort St., Southgate. Let’s make this a fun night—bring a friend and a donation for the food pantry.
Park and enter in back of building.

Saturday, May 9-“Mama’s Family” presented by TNT productions and Magdaleno’s. Dine at Magdaleno’s (152 Elm St.
Wyandotte) at 6:30 pm then walk or drive over to Downriver Council of the Arts (81 Chestnut, Wyandotte) for the 8 pm show.
Dinner menu: soup or salad, beverage and spaghetti & meatballs $13, chicken parmesan $15 or lasagna $13. All show
seats are $10. Reservations are required 734-626-8395.

Meet back at Stroh’s for ice cream.
Saturday, May 16—St. Sebastian Spring Festival—20710 Colgate, Dearborn Hts. Meet at 7 pm in the entertainment tent
Phoenix Theory will be playing.
Sunday, May 17—Dinner with Friends—Meet at 5 pm Famous Dave’s, 23879 Eureka, Taylor.
Friday, May 22--Miniature Golf— 7 pm Sportsway, 19640 Allen Rd. Brownstown.
Saturday, May 23-- Saturday, May 23—Dinner and a Movie—Meet 5:30 pm at Chicago Pizza, 15231 Trenton Rd, Southgate.
Then on to a movie.
Sunday, May 24—Memorial Day Picnic—2 pm Elizabeth Park— We have shelter A (on the right hand side near the play
area and bathrooms) Cost is $5. Bring a dish to pass. Bethany will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, and paper
products. Rain or shine.
Friday, May 29—BobJo’s—Meet at 7 pm for some great custard. 4071 Fort St, Wyandotte.
Saturday, May 30--BETHANY TOGETHER DANCE—8 pm to Midnight—Don Hubert VFW Hall, 27345 Schoolcraft Rd.
Redford (I-96 Service Drive east of Inkster Rd on the south side of Schoolcraft) Admission is $13 and includes
beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks. Dance lesson 7:30 – 8 pm with Lowell & Judy. Attire is business casual.
Sunday, May 31—Bethany Mass—St. Joseph Church—353 Elm St. Wyandotte. 11:30 am. Meet in the vestibule at 11:15
am. For more information, call Jerry 734-283-6887. Brunch immediately following mass at a place to be determined

Saturday, June 6---Dinner and Dancing—Sportsman’s Den, 15015 Sibley Rd, Riverview. Come for dinner at 7pm or later for
dancing.
Sunday, June 7—Dinner with Friends—5 pm-- Applebee’s ,13855 Eureka, Southgate.
Friday, June 12—Game Night—7 pm. $3 includes snacks. Peace Lutheran Church, 12250 Fort St, Southgate. Park and
enter from the back of the building.
Saturday, June 13—Miniature Golf and Pizza—Meet at 7 pm Midway Golf, 22381 Van Born, Taylor. Afterward, we will go to
Pia’s for pizza (21142 Ecorse, Taylor)
Saturday, June 13---Majestic Ballroom and Social Dance—8 -12 PM—Don Hubert VFW Hall, 27345 Schoolcraft Rd.
