PATONS YARN REQUIRED -
IMPORTANT! Use only the yarn specified for

Quantities are approximate as they can vary
between knitters.

Be sure to check the ball bands to ensure
all yarn is from the same dye lot.
NEEDLES AND EXTRAS -
1 pair 7.00mm (No 2) Knitting Needles or size needed to give correct tension.
•A Wool Needle for sewing up.
•A Crochet Hook for fringe of Scarf.
Using 7.00mm Needles, cast on 29 sts.
1st row - Knit to last 3 sts, yft, sl 3 purlways.
Rep 1st row 10 times … 11 rows in all.
Beg patt - 1st row - K4, * P2, K2, rep from * to last 5 sts, P2, yft, sl 3 purlways.
2nd row - K3, P1, * K2, P2, rep from * to last 5 sts, K2, yft, sl 3 purlways.
Last 2 rows form patt.
Cont in patt until scarf measures 125 cm from beg, ending with a 2nd row.
Next row - Knit to last 3 sts, yft, sl 3 purlways.
Rep last row 10 times.
Cast off loosely.
MAKE UP
Using wool needle, sew in all ends. Using crochet hook and 4 strands of
yarn each 20 cm long, work a fringe as pictured.
