IMPACT ORIENTED SUMMER
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is dedicated to the academic and social development of all our Club Members.
This summer, we are offering Middle School Camp for students entering 6th, 7th & 8th grade as well as daily activities
for our high school teen Club Members. We offer engaging and impactful programs to both encourage and challenge
Club Members during the summer. Daily enrichments, leadership groups, weekly walking explorations, exciting field
trips, and various project based lessons will keep Members engaged, entertained and educated throughout the
summer months.
DOING OUR PART TO REDUCE SUMMER LEARNING LOSS
Studies show that students lose the equivalent of one month of learning during the summer. This learning loss is
especially evident in the areas of math and reading. Enriching summer programs can help reduce the negative
impact of the long break in academic instruction. Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley integrates various approaches
to infuse each Club experience with learning.
