Constellation Lemoyne Star Quilt Class Supply List
This is a sampler project. We will be making blocks from 3” square to 12” square. Each block will be made
using one or two light fabrics and one or two dark fabrics for the star and the background (i.e. if the star is made
from light fabric, then the background should be made from dark fabric or if the star is made from dark fabric,
then the background should be made from light fabric).
Fabric Needed:
½ yard each of (5) assorted light cotton prints
½ yard each of (5) assorted medium/dark cotton prints
All blocks are constructed using strips of varying widths and lengths. Below are the widths and lengths of the
fabrics needed for each block.

the ruler. The ruler is available at Jackie Lynn’s.
Optional Ruler: Tucker Trimmer and/or Tucker Trimmer3 ruler for squaring up your blocks. These rulers are
also available at Jackie Lynn’s.

Basic Quilting Supplies:




Rotary Cutter, mat & rulers
Square ruler for trimming the blocks, if you have the Tucker Trimmer tool (also a Debbie Tucker ruler)
you can use that. You will need a ruler large enough to square up a block to 12-1/2” square.
Pins
Sewing machine, thread, bobbins
Pre-Class Preparation
Cut all of your strips for each block from the cutting chart on the first page, paying careful attention to the
number of blocks of each size that you will need to cut strips for. Keep your strips together for each size block.
I found it easiest to pin the strip sets together.
