The ASICS Big South National Qualifier Awards 35 Bids to USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships; Announces Division Winners Atlanta, GA. (April 15, 2015) – The ASICS Big South National Qualifier gave 35 bids to winners of one of the largest youth volleyball tournaments in the country with just over 1,200 teams playing over 5,000 matches. Attendees to the tournament brought a nearly $24 million economic impact to the city of Atlanta. The tournament utilized exhibit Halls A, B and C for a total of 171 courts in over 1.25 million square feet (out of 1.4 million). With over 12,000 athletes from all over the country competing for these spots , the level of play was high and the competition fierce.
