HOURS: Tues. & Thurs. 10am-7pm Wed., Fri. & Sat. 10am-4pm Closed Sun. & Mon. “Where we share the joy of quilting and fellowship with one another.” 6600 Sylvania Ave. (Saxon Square) _ Sylvania, OH 43560 _ 419-885-4438 www.sonflowerquilts.com March-August 2014 We’ve been dreaming up new ways to enjoy quilting and sewing. This past fall, Cathy started Scrap Happenin’s to use up our scraps in a multitude of ways. It’s been sort of a mystery experience as each participant is told what sizes to cut for the blocks made in class. We’ve had some good food and lots of camaraderie with new friends being made! Kathy is starting a new event called “Bag It!” with a healthy lunch or dinner and a bag making experience. We are even going to hold a Saturday Mystery Event in May. On June 20th and 21st, we’re having an “Embroidery Extravaganza” where you can learn how to embroider at any time during those two days. We’ll conduct “on the spot” classes in basic stitches with all supplies included. There will be a display of all kinds of embroidery patterns and supplies. Embroidery is a great take-a-long project for summertime. We’ll even show you what to do with it when you are finished!! Watch our Facebook page, emails and website for updates on new classes we create. Do we have your newest email address? Have you “liked” us on Facebook so you get our newsfeeds?
