Western solo singing We are on a hunt for UAE’s most versatile western solo singer. This event will be judged on a
variety of parameters that include – tune, voice control, rhythm, difficulty and stage presence.
Rules:
Ø Ø Ø Ø Maximum 1 person from each college is allowed to take part
Time limit - 4 minutes
Give all backing tracks 30 minutes before the event to the person in charge
If there is an instrument backing you up, sound can be checked 30 minutes before the
event. (Get guitars with output jack)
Ø Backing tracks containing lead vocals will not be permitted
Ø Offensive language will result in immediate disqualification
Western Duet Singing The ultimate competition for vocal harmony and coordination! This event will be judged on a
variety of parameters that include – tune, chemistry, coordination, voice control, rhythm,
difficulty and stage presence.

Ø Max 1 team per college is allowed to take part
Ø Time Limit - 4 minutes

Eastern Solo Singing From Mohd.Rafiuddin to Arijit Sing, if you can sing like either, this event is for you. The event
will be judgedon a variety of parameters that include – tune, voice control, rhythm, difficulty and
stage presence.

Instrumental If you think lyrics is time wasted between instrumental solos, then you are going to love this. This
eventwill be judged on Sound, Technique, Rhythm, Selection and Presentation.

Battle of the Bands -‐‑ Rockmageddon A competition like no other! Our main music event, which combinesboth instrumentsand vocals
makes the crowd headbang to a point of paralysis. This event will be judged on Coordination,
Melody, Rhythm and Stage Presence.
Rules:
Ø Ø Ø Ø Ø Maximum 1 band per college
A maximum of 8 members per band
Offensive lyrics will result in immediate disqualification
Sound check will be in the afternoon on the day of the event
Each band gets 5 minutes of setup time + 15 minutes of performance time
LITERARY EVENTS Devil's Advocate Devil's advocate is a way of challenging a position or perspective about a topic about which there
is debate by arguing for something you do not necessarily agree with. It is an event where you
come and be the attorney for Satan for he desperately needs one. Prove yourself worth in
defending the most atrocious of cases. Leave your morale’s and ethics behind as you step on the
grueling platform
Topics (Choose one topic):
Marriage is an outdated institution
Racial Profiling must be encouraged in Law Enforcement
Phone hacking is a legitimate tactic of investigative journalism.
RULES :
1. The speakers must plan a 10-minute stratagem wherein either or bothof the two speakers can
be active in terms of speech. How they decide to present their case is entirely up to them.
2. This would be followed by a cross-questioning session from the judges for 5 minutes.
3. Each team can select any one of the three topics.
4. Time allocation and strategy is at the discretion of each individual team.
JAM Panel game in which the contestants are challenged to speak for one minute without hesitation,
deviation or repetition on any subject that comes up on the cards. Different rounds are set up by
the JAM Master. This innovative game gives speakers the chance to explore their instincts and
challenge their verbal skills. This is a fun event with multiple rounds. The objective of this event
is to clock the maximum speaking time.
Rules:
Registration: Individual registrations
1. Every Round lasts for a minute.
2. For every second you speak, you get 1 point.
3. The event comprises Regular and Special J.A.M rounds.
4. The details of each round will be provided on the spot.
5. The J.A.M Master's decision will be final and binding.
•The first is generally to go on and speak on the sentence - JAM is my bread and butter.
•Next up is where people have to create a storyline. Like the JAM master provides the first line say, 'I was walking down the street and...' and people continue from there.
Additional rounds are like: (Depending on time constraint)
1. You can't use “and” in your sentence.
2. You have to first say a riddle that has been provided or do a dance step as soon as you JAM
someone before you state the reason as to why you jammed the person and then take it from
there.
3. Disconnect round. Basically everything you say should be completely disconnected from what
the previous person says. If someone else finds a connection between the two - you can be
jammed.
4. Praise the JAM Master - this is fun! Every person HAS to praise the JAM master prior to
stating the reason for the JAM. The JAM master awards points on the basis of the awesomeness
of the phrase.
5. And finally, Shipwreck. This is generally an on the spot elimination. Person with highest scores
until this point is allowed to choose who must go next. The person has to impersonate a
character given to him/her and state the reason for the JAM.
6. Rhyme. This is hard. You're expected to ensure that every sentence you say rhymes.
7. Hindi line. Your 1 word in every sentence SHOULD be in Hindi. This is fun!

Non Fiction • Films in both the categories should not be shorter than 5 minutes and longer longer than 30 minutes, including full credits. • Films must confer to the H.264/MP4 AVC standard format • Films are to be submitted for consideration along with a description and full credits via "wetransfer" or "dropbox" to the email address -‐ [email protected]/[email protected]. • Entries once accepted cannot be withdrawn by the participant. • The following must be attached and sent to the organizers in one email for the film to be considered: a.) Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification of the team from the event. 8. Special prizes for best male and female model will be given out. 9. The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final and building in all. 10. Green room will be provided per team. 11. Emphasis will be given to clothing, walking style and originality. 12. No props and costumes will be provided by us. Teams have to bring their own.
