Parent/Student Behavior A great deal of time and hard work is spent preparing for and choreographing shows. We try to be fair and include as many of our students as possible in these events. If any parent or student has an issue that arises at a public performance (Gaelic Park, Blackbird Recital, or any Feis or show) it needs to be addressed in private before/after class or via phone. The Gaelic Park performance and our Recital are meant to be enjoyable for students, parents, family members and teachers. Missed Classes It is a difficult task in itself to include over 75 dancers of different levels in a show or recital. It is nearly impossible when the rate of absenteeism is so high. We are flexible with students that have other outside interests (basketball, soccer, volleyball etc.) as long as the student doesn’t fall behind in class. However, if a student isn’t capable of keeping up with the material covered in his/her class, that student shouldn’t expect to be included in choreographed routines and may end up being switched to a less advanced class to relearn the necessary steps. There are four remaining show classes before the Recital, 03/21/15, 03/28/15, 04/04/15 and 04/11/15. We ask that you please make every effort to have your children attend show class for the next 4 weeks. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBPAGE FREQUENTLY FOR UPDATES ON THE ABOVE MENTIONED EVENT.
