Cardboard boat races parent letter

Cardboard Boat Race Challenge
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The St. Peter Grade 8 students will be participating in the SIEC Cardboard Boat Race Challenge
on Friday, May 22nd, 2015. The challenge is a competition that requires students to design and
build a boat out of cardboard that will hold a minimum of one person. The students will then
race their boats the length of a swimming pool. For the last week the students have started to
prepare for the challenge by designing and completing models of their boats. If you would like
to see their progress, please use the following link http://mrleschyshyn.weebly.com/
On the day of the challenge, the students will be building their boats at Saskatchewan
