LENGTH OF COURSE: Approximately 200 yards
DOG HOUSE RACER SPECIFICATIONS: All Dog Houses must be at least 38” frame and wheel
base. The Dog House can be made of wood or metal but can’t have a steering mechanism. All
Dog Houses can only have 2 Wheels (20” max). The wheels must be fastened stationary to the
Dog House. Wheels can’t turn to the right or left. Push bar needs to extend in front of the Dog
House and there can only be 3 runners at a time.
(A Dog House Racer will be available for use & on display at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce office – 229 S. Pierce Street)





PARTICIPANTS: Each team must have their own Dog House to race. Each team will have 1
rider and 3 runners. All participants must wear an approved bike helmet.
SPONSOR: The sponsor can be a Company, Club, Organization, Business, or group of
individuals. The Sponsor can advertise by the use of signage on the Dog House.
RACE FORMAT: There will be a preliminary round. Each team will be timed and the fastest
teams will advance to the final round. The race will be a down and back type race.
AWARDS: Participants from around the state will compete again this year for bragging rights,
prize money, and trophies.

release and forever discharge the BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL from any responsibility or liability for injury or accident
loss, claims, damage or theft. It is further agreed that this applicant shall maintain his/her activities and business
practices in compliance with the laws of the State of Texas and the City Ordinances of Burnet and Burnet County.
Applicant understands that violation or non-compliance of same may result in immediate expulsion of Applicant and
his/her team from the Festival.
