The 2015 Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Block Party will be back for its 18th year on
Sunday, July 12th in Olde Town Arvada. People from throughout metro Denver will gather
again this year for a fun day in Olde Town Arvada, enjoy great food and listen to music by
some of the best local bands in the area -- all to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity
of Metro Denver -- and we need your help!
Habitat for Humanity is a homeownership program for hard-working, low-income families
in need of a safe and affordable home. They help families get out of crowded, overpriced
or substandard housing and into a stable, financially manageable home. Families who are
willing to work hard to achieve their dream of homeownership invest hundreds of hours to
help build their home, and then purchase it with an affordable, zero-percent interest
mortgage. They are able to do this through generous donations from the community.

The Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Block Party in 2014 raised $27,500 to help build
homes during the Jimmy Carter Build. To date we have donated over $130,000 through
our Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Block Party to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.
You can help Blues & BBQ for Better Housing donate even more this year, and put on a
great show in the process.
All proceeds from the 2015 block party will directly benefit Habitat for Humanity of Metro
