Friends of Bluestone is a West Virginia
Non Profit Corporation organized solely
to support the ministries of Bluestone
Camp & Retreat. Our purpose, as
Friends of Bluestone, is to raise funds for
the maintenance and upkeep for this
special place, thereby enabling and
advancing Christ’s ministry … with faith
and in the great hope that God will

years to come.

Friends of Bluestone Update
The Friends of Bluestone Board of Directors is not short on ideas, but they need
your prayers and support to help implement them! Please let us know if you
are interested in helping in any way, big or small!
Summer Camp Registration Underway. Bluestone has a camping
experience for every age group, and a wide range of adventurous
camping activities which include swimming, canoeing, campfires,
cookouts, climbing wall, hiking, crafts, picnics, worship, and Bible study.
Get ready for a fun filled week on the mountain! Click these links to view

 Summer Camp Volunteers Needed. Please consider volunteering your time
to help with camp. Each week at camp we need 1 Camp Nurse, 3 Key
Leaders, and 3 Craft Leaders. There’s also a need for general support
which may include drivers, kitchen help, grounds & maintenance help,
photo/media techs, and extra counselor support. If interested, please call

 Summer Camp Scholarship Opportunities. There are two primary avenues
for contributing towards scholarship opportunities that provide kids the
opportunity to attend camp.
 The first is the “Send A Kid to Cap” campaign where churches are
encouraged to make at least one week of summer camp available to

 The second is the Molly Gant scholarship fund that helps deserving
youth attend camp and have that special “mountain-top” Bluestone
