With support from the Sandgate and District Chamber of Commerce, the Sandgate Art Society and
Shorncliffe Potters, the Bluewater Art Exhibition is set for another record year.
We welcome all works to be for sale, exhibition quality and not previously exhibited.
Showcasing 2D and 3D works from outstanding local artists, the exhibition will be displayed at the
Waterford Building, St Patrick’s College, Shorncliffe.
We thank St Patricks College for the generous offer of the use of their facility.
Opening times will be: -

(Opening night to coincide with the Bluewater Bayfire Event)

Conditions of Entry:
PLEASE NOTE - ITEMS NOT MEETING THESE CRITERIA WILL BE REJECTED

Work must be labelled with Artists Name,Title & Price
2 D size limitation is 120CM in any direction
2 D works must be ready to hang with D rings or wire/string attached
All works must be dry – no wet paint or glaze
3 D works must be able to be carried manually (up to 20 kg max.) & assembled by one person
All works entered must be offered for sale
A 25% commission (in open categories only) will be retained by Bluewater Festival Committee
to cover costs with any profits going towards next year’s event.
8. No responsibility for breakages will be accepted by the Bluewater Festival Committee
9. Works will be set up by the exhibition committee only
10. The Judges decision is final & no discussion will be entered into
11. Judges are not to be approached by exhibitors whilst judging is taking place
12. Prizes will be awarded for 1st place in each category with other works recognised dependent
on sponsorship
13. Delivery of work to be Wednesday 1st April STRICTLY from 4:30pm – 6:30pm direct to
Waterford Building
14. Pickup of unsold work will be Sunday 5th April STRICTLY from 3.00pm – 4.00pm from
Waterford Building at 60 Park Parade Shorncliffe.– Any work not collected at this time will
incur a retrieval fee
