RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and
Government of Karnataka, is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the
responsibility of implementation of the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bangalore.
BMRCL invites qualified and experienced personnel for a walk-in-interview for appointment
to middle level management positions in the Finance / HR Division on deputation / contract
basis.
Retired Officers from Metro Railway / Railways / Government Departments/ PSUs, not more
than 61 years of age, may also apply.

Vetting of tender documents including bill of quantities, commercial
and financial terms etc. Checking compliance to KTPP Act / CVC
guidelines before communicating financial concurrence for the
proposal.
Scrutiny of contractor’s bills mainly to check compliance with
contractual terms and conditions, evidence of reimbursement claimed,
checking of BOQ rates, budgetary provisions etc.
Maintenance of details of contracts for MIS purposes
Review of systems and procedures for continuous improvement
wherever required
Screening of price variation claims of contractors and rate analysis for
non-scheduled / non – tender items
Finalisation of annual accounts
Correspondence with Banks regarding Foreign Exchange matters
including on Hedging matters
Preparation of Project fund flow and cash flow statements
Regular monitoring of receivables and payables
Any other work assigned by higher authorities
Verification and processing of contractors bills for payment mainly to
check the genuineness of the contractors claim with reference to Bill of
Quantity, terms & conditions of contract, reasonability, value for money
etc.
Tender scrutiny and evaluation to check compliance with applicable
laws and regulations under KTPP Act, CVC guidelines etc.
Assisting in vetting of tender documents
Preparation of daily / weekly / monthly or such periodical reports for

Supervision and remittance of IT-TDS filling of all varieties of TDS
Returns as per the statutory requirement, daily / weekly/ monthly /

Besides the above consolidated monthly salary, medical and personal accident
insurance cover , reimbursement of outpatient medical expenses, contribution to the
superannuation fund, CUG mobile facility and conveyance will be provided as per
Rules of the Company.
II. CONTRACT APPOINTMENT
1. The Contract Appointment will be for a period of 1 - 3 years
2. The contractual period of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 30
days notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of one month in lieu of notice
period..
III. CONDITIONS
1. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of
minimum experience does not confer any right for interview / selection.
2. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside
influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.
3. Selection will be by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority.
4. The candidates who are working with State Government Departments / Public Sector
Undertakings may attend the walk-in-interview and if the candidate is selected,

BMRCL will seek consent
for deputation from the respective Organization. In
respect of candidates working in Central government / Central PSUs, they may
attend the walk-in-interview, after obtaining prior permission from their respective
Organizations.
IV. SELECTION
1. Candidates appearing for walk-in-interview should down load application format for
the post, fill up the same and attend the Walk in interview along with all the relevant
certificates, testimonials as prescribed for the post in originals and one set of
Photostat copies for verification.
2. Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or
making statements, which are false or incorrect or attempts to use unfair means for
the purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection.
3. The candidate shall have to indicate his/her acceptance to the offer within fifteen
days from the receipt of offer, if not, next candidate in order of merit will be offered
the appointment on similar lines. The Competent Authority may grant such extension
of time depending upon the exigencies.
4. The candidates shall have to appear for interview at their own cost.
V. MISCELLANEOUS
1. Non-production of relevant documents along with the application will lead to rejection
of candidature at any stage during the process of recruitment.
2. BMRCL shall not be liable for any damage / injury / loss to the individual, if any,
sustained during the entire recruitment process and journey.
3. BMRCL reserves the right to assess fitness or otherwise of the candidates selected.
