Job Profile Post Deputy General Manager (F&A) Job Profile Manager (F&A) Vetting of tender documents including bill of quantities, commercial and financial terms etc. Checking compliance to KTPP Act / CVC guidelines before communicating financial concurrence for the proposal. Scrutiny of contractor’s bills mainly to check compliance with contractual terms and conditions, evidence of reimbursement claimed, checking of BOQ rates, budgetary provisions etc. Maintenance of details of contracts for MIS purposes Review of systems and procedures for continuous improvement wherever required Screening of price variation claims of contractors and rate analysis for non-scheduled / non – tender items Finalisation of annual accounts Correspondence with Banks regarding Foreign Exchange matters including on Hedging matters Preparation of Project fund flow and cash flow statements Regular monitoring of receivables and payables Any other work assigned by higher authorities Verification and processing of contractors bills for payment mainly to check the genuineness of the contractors claim with reference to Bill of Quantity, terms & conditions of contract, reasonability, value for money etc. Tender scrutiny and evaluation to check compliance with applicable laws and regulations under KTPP Act, CVC guidelines etc. Assisting in vetting of tender documents Preparation of daily / weekly / monthly or such periodical reports for 1 Post Job Profile Assistant Manager (F&A) matters concerning allocated work / processes Preparation of budget estimates, cash flow statements etc. Preparation of MIS reports, exceptional reporting etc. Monitoring of receivables and payables to ensure timely action Maintenance of registers / documents (system / paper copy) for major activities / events like Register of contracts, Monthly Expenditure Plan vs. Actual, Register to monitor recoveries, register of litigation etc. Review of working of ERP system for constant improvements / updating in order to serve overall objectives of integrated system driven decision making process in BMRCL. Assisting in maintenance and upgradation of ERP software to ensure office automation. Supervision and remittance of IT-TDS filling of all varieties of TDS Returns as per the statutory requirement, daily / weekly/ monthly / quarterly / yearly compliance. Supervision and issue of TDS Certificate to the contractors, employees, service providers Supervision, remittance of VAT / WCT and filing returns on monthly basis, quarterly, half yearly as per the statutory requirements Remittance of deductions like Royalty, Labour Cess from the contractor’s bills Attending to all Income Tax related matters Bank Guarantees Monitoring – Periodical review of validity period of Bank Guarantees and correspondence for renewal of BGs All matters pertaining to Foreign Currency loans and transactions Arranging for CA certificate for making foreign remittance Dealing with Land files / payments Finalisation of Accounts Asset Capitalisation, periodical review of contracts etc. Assisting superior officers in review of Receivables and Payables for Half Year/ Annual Account Assisting in Audit (Statutory and Internal) matters including preparation of draft replies, follow up on pending audit objections etc. Any other work assigned by superior officers. II. CONTRACT APPOINTMENT 1. The Contract Appointment will be for a period of 1 - 3 years 2. The contractual period of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving 30 days notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of one month in lieu of notice period.. III. CONDITIONS 1. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right for interview / selection. 2. Selection will be by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority. 4. Candidates appearing for walk-in-interview should down load application format for the post, fill up the same and attend the Walk in interview along with all the relevant certificates, testimonials as prescribed for the post in originals and one set of Photostat copies for verification. 2. Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or making statements, which are false or incorrect or attempts to use unfair means for the purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection. 3. The candidate shall have to indicate his/her acceptance to the offer within fifteen days from the receipt of offer, if not, next candidate in order of merit will be offered the appointment on similar lines.
