Our board and staff have been very busy making improvements and renovations to this outstanding facility. All of our restrooms are being updated with new tile, counters, partitions and fixtures as needed. We have approved new carpeting for our card rooms and Media room. Our pool and spa decks have had some safety and cosmetic repairs and you can’t miss the wonderful new planters along the breezeway. We have approved new plantings to be installed in the near future. The lighting of all the tennis Courts is in progress with new LED lights. This is something many resident members have been asking for and we have been listening! While you may be wondering, all these expenses are afforded through our capital reserves and equity. Careful money management by our Management staff and Board of Directors throughout the years has made this possible. With the school year coming to a close shortly, check the Bonaventure Times Calendar for activities available to you and your children. Our skating rink and basketball courts times may change in accordance with school closings. We plan to continue with swim lessons this summer as every child should be a swimmer in Florida. Did you know that our local BSO will check your blood pressure every first Wednesday of the month for FREE in the lobby? Is it time to re-start that New Year’s resolution to get fit? Our gym manager David Elovitz will help you accomplish that! Planning a school end of the year party, what better place to have a hassle free party than the Bonaventure Town Center Club. Ask Magnolia at the front desk for pricing and for help planning your special event. On behalf of the board and staff, we wish all our Mother’s a “Happy Mother’s Day” in May and Fathers a Happy Father’s Day in June. Italian American Club By Irene Mandikas Here we are nearing the end of our 2014/2015 calendar season. The years seem to be flying by - but we have one more event ahead of us, and that is the monthly meeting being held on May l8th. The May meeting should be a fun one - we're having a complimentary "Ice Cream Social" for all our members before we take our summer hiatus. We've had a fun and enjoyable year, and hopefully next year will be just as great. During the summer the Board will meet and try to put together a variety of events and outings that will be favorable to you. A calendar will be drawn up and sent in the mail to each of you.
