Bedford Borough. Far be it from me to suggest we want them because they
are coming to the end of their careers!!

Ladies County Rinks Competition: Congratulations to Hilary McBriarty, Gillian
Blacklock, Betty Small, Brenda Keech & Anne Baker on reaching the finals of the
Ladies National Championship. The two finalists will play at The Borough on July
18th, but both teams still qualify for Leamington in August.
Any News??: The blank on the next page is because I have run out of ideas
for this Newsletter. I need you to leave me a note of anything of interest that
other members may be interested in.

The Constitution: Keep Thursday the 25th June @ 7pm., in your diary as it will
be your chance to make your contribution to the changes proposed and to find
out why they are necessary.
Helpers for the club: With much of the major work around the club now coming
to a conclusion, and a new constitution on the horizon, all members, especially
Indoor members will have an opportunity to make a bigger contribution to the
well running of the club. So when you look around you and see things that could
be improved, consider if you have a particular talent or skill that could make this
happen, even if it is only for a couple of hours a month. Leaving it to a few
individuals can be unfair, but the more you put into the club, you will find the
more you will get out of it.

Borough now have a maximum of 18 points with none conceded after two wins;
(we beat Maulden last week). The next match is away to Henlow on 3rd June.

Revenge!! A man looks over his garden wall to see his neighbor digging a hole in
the back garden. ‘What are you up to?’ he asks.
‘I’m digging a hole for my dead hamster,’ he replies.
‘Sorry to hear that, but it’s a big hole for a hamster, isn’t it?’
‘Of course it is, it’s inside your bloody cat,’ he yells.
