A TASTE OF THE ARTS/FIRST FRIDAYS
First Friday events will begin on May 1, 2015 and will be held on first Fridays of the
month until December in downtown Chambersburg. Some events include: May – A Taste of
Chambersburg; June – Holistic & Wellness; July – Stars, Strips & Straws; and December –
Cocoa Crawl and Santa.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WALK
The annual Mental Health Awareness Walk “Walk the Walk” will be held on Friday, May
22, 2015 starting at 10:30 AM. The walkers will be using the sidewalks only and it will start and
end at the Recreation Center. In case of rain, the event will be held in the Center.

NORTH SQUARE FARMER’S MARKET
The North Square Farmer’s Market will begin on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 6:30 AM
until 1:30 PM on North Main Street. It will be held every Saturday until Saturday, October 17,
2015.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
The annual Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 starting at
8:30AM. It will form on Fifth Avenue at Lincoln Way East and proceed on Lincoln Way through
the square.

OVERFLOW MINISTRIES - BASKETBALL
TOURNAMENT
The annual Overflow Ministries Basketball Tournament will be held at Mike Waters Park
on Friday, May 29, 2015 starting at 6:00 PM and end around 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 31,
2015.

MIKE WATERS PARK GRAND OPENING
The Borough of Chambersburg invites the Community to the Grand Opening Events at
Mike Waters Park on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. There will be
kids/youth activities, music, and more. Come see our new Splash Pad!

The annual PANCAN 5K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 starting at
7:00 AM. It is held at Memorial Park.

The Chambersburg Brethren in Christ Church will hold their annual Family Fair on
Saturday, June 27, 2015 starting at noon. It is held at Reservoir Hill Park.
