1 out of 5, or 20% of Franklin County families
cannot meet basic living expenses.
Hardworking families are caught in a cycle of
poverty and unsustainable living situations.
Race Against Poverty is an opportunity to take
a stand together as a community against the
poverty that grips many of our own, and stifles
our full potential.
100% of your registration fee will go to
Support Circles, a local initiative seeing
families overcome poverty and move into
long term stability.

6:00 pm—Check In Begins
6:45 pm—1k Kids Run (see Kids Run flyer)
7:00 pm—Walk Start
8:00 pm—Race Start
9:00 pm—Awards Ceremony
Check In closes at 7:30pm.
This is a fantastic run through downtown
Chambersburg! Traffic control will be at
crosswalks for runners, but please remain
alert and aware of traffic. Walkers will be
required to use sidewalks and follow regular
pedestrian rules at intersections. No roller
blades, bicycles, and no refunds. Held rain or
shine. In the case of severe weather, make up
day is on June 12. Check In will be held on the
corner of Main & King Street. (162 E. King St.)
