MARCH 2015 Boulevard 1 Maintenance Corporation www.Boulevard1HOA.org Professionally Managed by Keystone Pacific Property Management, Inc. - 16775 Von Karman, Ste. 100 Irvine, CA 92606 HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY! Tuesday, March 17, 2015 BOARD OF DIRECTORS: President: Karen Smith Vice-President: Elisa Vallejo Treasurer: Jose Reyes NEXT BOARD MEETING: Tuesday, April , Date TBD 519 S. Anaheim Blvd. Anaheim, CA 92805 IN CASE YOU FORGOT OR DIDN’T KNOW… Dogs must be walked on a leash at all times. Homeowners are required to pick up after their pets at all times. Failure to do either will result in a consequential violation notice, hearing and fine. Garages are built to accommodate two (2) cars. This means households with two cars must utilize both garage spots for cars. Therefore, you should not be using one spot for your car and one spot for storage, all while parking your second car in front of your unit or in guest spots. Do not leave your garage doors open! This is for your own safety. The community is not gated, and so leaving your garage doors open, even for a short period of time, makes homeowners vulnerable to vagabonds and burglars. ALL replacements/modifications to the exterior of your home must be approved by the Board. This includes, but is not limited to: doors, door knobs, door locks, etc. Failure to comply will result in a violation notice, hearing and fine. The Board may also ask that you remove the replacement. Items can NOT be nailed/drilled into the exterior of the property. This includes items nailed to the front door or the exterior stucco. Doing so will result in a violation and you will be required to remove such objects in order to incur additional fines. Items include, but are not limited to: surveillance cameras, wind chimes, flag stands, name plaques, decorations. The final agenda will be posted at least 4 days prior to the meeting. You may also obtain a copy of the agenda by contacting the Property Manager at (949) 838-3218 or by e-mailing a request to [email protected]. COMMUNITY SAFETY-CRIME PREVENTION Often times the safest neighborhoods can become victims of crimes and vandalism. Keeping informed of the potential hazards and watchful eye in the community can make a huge impact on keeping your neighborhood safe. Get to know your neighbors. This not only helps to foster a healthy community spirit, but it also helps to protect the neighborhood. Know who belongs and who doesn’t. See Something, Say Something - Take a picture, write down the make and model of vehicles and descriptions of individuals. CLE CLEANING TIP OF THE MONTH The best solution is a homemade solution of ice, vinegar, and lemons. Buy an ice tray and write “Garbage Disposal” on the bottom. I don’t think anybody would like to have a vinegar ice cube in their drinking water. Fill the tray with 8 parts water and 1 part vinegar. Then cut up a lemon and drop a small piece of the lemon rind into each slot to help with odor. Leave the solution to freeze. Remove the tray and drop the ice cubes down into the garbage disposal. Turn on the device and run some water from the faucet to help wash down the bits of debris. Make sure to completely grind up the ice.
