Instrument sterilization is a key functional area of your practice. Using CDC guidelines for the instrument
sterilization process, Boyd designs a steri-center cabinet to facilitate an efficient linear progression of instruments
from dirty to sterile while ensuring the safety of your staff. Each Boyd steri-center is custom designed for optimal
fit and function within your available space. We integrate your specified equipment and customize to meet your

Standard Construction Features Include:
► Durable ¾” Plywood interior construction
► Corian™ solid surface counter top with under mount sink and grooved drain boards under sterilization
equipment
► A wide selection of laminate veneer exteriors finishes by Wilsonart™, Formica™ and Nevamar™
► Bright, energy-efficient LED task lighting in clean-blue and dirty-red storage cabinets and white for
counter surface illumination.
► Above and below valences on upper cabinets to conceal electrical and data cabling
► High quality faucet with sprayer and soap dispenser
► Extra wide “wrapping station” with drawers sized to accommodate standard sterile wrapping material

Like all Boyd cabinetry, our Rear Delivery Units (RDU) can be custom designed to meet your practice requirements.
Our standard units are designed to accommodate 4-handed dentistry by including an assistant package with our
doctor package on the unit’s articulating, retractable arm. Our RDUs are designed to be ergonomic, durable and
versatile to adapt to practice requirements. These units whether standard or custom are built with Boyd’s high
