Southampton Samurai Judo Club is inviting your club to a Primary & Low Junior Kyu Grade Championship. (Under 3rd Kyu Green Belt) BJC and BJA competitors must be under the age of 16 years on the day of the Competition. It will be held on Sunday 12th April 2015 at Woodlands Community College Minstead Avenue Harefield Southampton SO18 5FW. THE CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS THE 9th April 2015 The following fees apply for the Championship. Entry Fee for all Primary and Junior entrants £10.00 Spectators over the age of 5 years £2.00 ALL Late Entries an Extra £2.00 Weigh in Times Primaries 08.3am Junior’s 10.00am Contestants will be weighed up on the day, upon payment of £2.00 The Championship will be run under BJC Contest Rules. All Ages 3 Sacrifice throws. All Ages 4 Kubi Nage. (A throwing attempt where the neck is encircled). All Ages 5 Makikomi.(Where the attacker falls on the thrown opponent). All Ages 6 Kata Gurama. All Ages 7 Drop Knee Seoi-Nage. All Ages 8 Leg or Ankle Grabs. All Ages 9 No contestant will be weighed down. 10 No coaching at the side of the mat. 11 Zoris must be worn to and from the mat area.. 12 Only club coaches will be permitted at the mat area. 13 Contestants may wear a gum shield if they are wearing brace’s are on teeth. 14 Contestants are NOT allowed to wear BLUE or REVERSIBLE GI’s when fighting. NO WHITE GI. NO FIGHT. 15 THE MAT MARSHALL DECISION WILL BE FINAL IN ALL CASES.
