Entry forms and fees may be submitted any time prior to fishing in the tournament. Forms and fees may be mailed to:
Nora Hooker/Broads With Rods, PO Box 302, Alvin, Tx 77512 or submit to CaptainMarks Bastrop Marina. Entries must
be received prior to an entrant fishing in tournament. Ceremony and live auction begin at 6:00 pm to announce all
winners and give out cash prizes. Please call Nora Hooker at 713-299-3037 if you have questions.

Broads With Rods 8th Annual Fishing Tournament, Saturday, May 2, 2015, Bastrop Marina
Team Rules:
1 * One male per boat
* Maximum of 4 ladies per team
* Captain cannot cast, set the hook or reel in fish for our Broads
*Captain is allowed to bait hook, net fish & bring fish into the boat
* Captain cannot fish in this tourney
*Captains priority is the safety of our ladies.
*Bay fishing only
*Offshore fishing is not permissible
2 Deadline for early registration is April 26th for $35.00. April 27th thru May 2nd entry fee is $40.00. Please
call Nora at 713-299-3037 if you have questions.
3 All ladies participating in the tournament must have a valid fishing license and salt water stamp.
4 All public bays in Brazoria County may be fished including San Luis Pass, includes West Galveston
Bay and adjacent waters to Bastrop Bay. Offshore fishing is not permissible.
5 All legal means of fishing is permitted including artificial lures.
6 Winning prizes will be determined by weight in each category. The largest fish in each category will be paid a
cash prize. The prize amounts will be determined by the number of entries. In case of tie, the first fish to weigh
in will win.
7 To be eligible for weigh in participants must be on the dock at Headquarters by 6:00 p.m. Weigh in will close
at 6:00 p.m. Please be on time or you forfeit your entry.
8 The fish caught during the tournament may be kept by the participant.
9 Dinner plates and a drink will be sold for $6.00 each. Meal is included in the entry fee for participants and
captain only.
10 All proceeds generated by the tournament will go back in the tournament to continue Broads with Rods
yournaments annually.
11 All decisions on all aspects of the tournament are to be made final by the director or designee of the director.
12 A registration table will be set up at Bastrop Marina at 5:00 a.m. prior to the tournament on May 2nd.
13 The tournament will take place rain or shine except for severe weather.
14 Broads With Rods is a non profit organization founded to assist families in need and/or organizations that assist
our senior citizens.
