Get Pro Photo Prints from Labs
Actual photo prints remain the highest expression of the photographer’s art - and the most difficult part of photography. Introduce
yourself to artistic printing of enlargement. Introduce yourself to
pro-quality printing of enlargements. This class will introduce you
to the tools and techniques that allow you to take charge of the
computers at high-quality photo labs. You get prints the way YOU
want them, rather than what the lab computer created for you.
Please don’t get me wrong - I have no complaint with modern labs.
They do a wonderful job. But you may want to handle all the interpretation of YOUR image YOUR way. We’ll have 3 sessions: The first
will be for installing software on your laptop, selecting images, and
ordering prints; Second session will deal with reviewing RESULTS
from the first, ADJUSTING YOUR SETTINGS, and ordering more
prints; Third session we will again critique results from the second

Pictures from Your Pocket
Absolutely everybody is taking pictures with their smartphones —
everybody except you, that is. By the time you figure out how to
put your phone in photo mode, the photo has left for lunch! And
what’s all this talk about Instagrams? In this NEW class the instructor will find the shortest route to the camera function in your
phone. Together we’ll explore best techniques for holding and
shooting with the phone and with other super-compact cameras.
We’ll also experiment with some of the apps that give pictures
those customized looks, like sepia, or grunge, or antique processes.

The Teen Leadership Academy is designed to provide our young adults opportunities to gain real life and work experience through civic engagement. High school age youth are given an opportunity to perform community service while learning the principles of project management, work
ethic, leadership, team work, and character building. Counselors in Training will get a similar work experience as do Fremont part-time staff, complete with training and held to the same standards, though on a volunteer basis. A great way to gain valuable skills to add to your resumes and
college applications! Participants will receive a minimum of 25 service hours, CIT t-shirt, certificate, & letter.
