Biodata of HRH Prince ‘Abdul Malik
His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik is the sixth child and second son of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah
Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran
Anak Hjh Saleha.
HRH was born on June 30, 1983 at Istana Nurul Iman. The prince had received his early education in the form of
private tuition at Istana Nurul Iman and then at the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB) School.
In 2008, he was awarded the Bachelor of Arts degree in Education Studies (English stream) with Second Class Upper
Honours at Universiti Brunei Darussalam
At the age of 30, HRH was appointed as the chairman of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s Committee of GoverGover
nors from March 1, 2013 until February 28, 2017.

Dk Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah, born on October 27, 1992, is the second of 10 children to Pg Hj Bolkiah Pg Hj Jaluddin and
Pg Hjh Noor’aismah Pg Hj Ismail.
Her father is a Fire and Rescue Department personnel, while her mother is a religious school teacher.
Dk Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah started studying at Al-Falaah School when she was six years old. In 2004, she was enrolled
in Rimba I Primary School before joining Menglait Secondary School in 2006.
In 2012, Dk Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah was on work attachment as a systems data analyst at BAG Networks. She worked
as an IT Instructor at HAD Technologies the following year.
Dk Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah obtained a number of certificates, such as the Internet and Computing Core Certification,
Microsoft Office Specialist and the Adobe Certified Certificate.
She has actively participated in religious activities and represented Pg Anak Puteri ‘Azimah Ni’matul Bolkiah
Religious School in competitions such as the Al-Quran Reading Contest in 2005. She was also appointed as head
prefect at Pg Anak Puteri ‘Azimah Ni’matul Bolkiah Religious School.
In her spare time, Dk Raabi’atul ‘Adawiyyah likes to read religious books and pursues her interest in music and
sports, such as squash and badminton.
