Welcome to our 19th Annual Spring Edition Sale!
It’s hard to believe it’s been 19 years since our first Spring Edition
Sale. This sale has always been challenging for our crew and us to prepare for just because of how busy it is the first three months of the year.
With the major shows, calving, county shows, and this year fighting the
weather, it can be very trying at times, but like every other year these
guys have buckled down and they get it done.
We are so blessed to make our living in the cattle business and do
what we really enjoy. The past year we have seen the cattle market at all
time highs and it has given cattlemen opportunities to advance their
programs. I truly believe the elite cattle are the best buys in a strong
market. Now is the time to gather up the good ones!
2014 was a banner year for Buck Cattle Company and for the Spring
Edition Sale. The Maine Junior National Champion Maine-Anjou
Female, Maine Jr. National Champion MaineTainer Female, Junior
National Hereford Expo Champion Polled Female, and Oklahoma
Youth Expo Supreme Champion Female were all purchased in the
Spring Edition Sale. Furthermore, we kicked off 2015 with the Reserve
Champion Maine Female at the National Western, which was also purchased in the Spring Edition Sale. We have been fortunate to have had
many other champions purchased in our other sales, but this Spring
Edition Sale has produced the highest percentage of those champions
this year. This Sale has produced five Jr. National Champions in the past
four years.
This offering is outstanding! They are deep in quality and backed by
some of the most proven pedigrees in the business. The show prospects
in this group are impressive but the number of donor prospects in this
offering is larger than ever. I have to say I am truly impressed with the
quality of the females our customers produced this time. They have gone
the extra mile and it shows up in the quality. I have no doubt there are
several females that can compete and win on a national level, so buy with
confidence.
This operation would not function without great help and these guys
give it 100%. We want to give special thanks to Matt Scasta, Seth
Buckley, Ethan Moore, John Choate, and Dacota Holtcamp for their
hard work and dedication. You guys make it happen!!
