Principal’s Message
Students of Promise
Congratulations to two former Ravens who just
received the 2015 Students of Promise scholarships.
Jonathan Hernandez and Connor McKnight both BR
class of 2010 received $1500 college scholarships
from the Foundation for Clovis Schools. Jonathan and
Connor are the first Bud Rank alumni to earn these
scholarships. Students of Promise are junior students
who have had struggles in their lives, but through
hard work and perseverance, they are on track to
graduate and attend college.
Traffic, Traffic, Traffic
After piloting the idea, if a vehicle is at a green curb
in the Powers circle drive they need to drop off their
child, we have found traffic no longer backs up into
the street. We also found that the line moves much
quicker. So, if you are in the green, please drop off
your child. Waiting until you are at the gate makes
the line longer and slower. Staff will be out every
morning to encourage this new habit.
End of 3rd Quarter
This Friday, March 27th, is the end of the 3rd quarter.
Report cards will be going home the Friday we return
from Spring Break. Enjoy the break and we will see
you back at school on Tuesday, April 7th.
