distribute food on the 3rd Saturday of the
month.

SODA POP TABS: Meghan Ishler from
Valley View is collecting soda pop tabs for the
Bald Eagle Area Middle/High School. These
will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House

tabs in the can she provided in the vestibule of
each of the three churches. The collection
continues through June of 2015.
BIBLE STUDY: The Hebrews study will
resume on April 8th.
SAVE YOUR GREETING CARDS:
This ministry supports St. Jude Ranch. Tear
the covers off of your greeting cards (except
Hallmark, American Greeting or Disney
Characters), and bring them to church.
Collection boxes are available in all three
locations. The greeting cards will be
repurposed and proceeds help the children at
St. Jude Ranch.
SAVE THE DATE:
May 17 – Worship in the Park--Sunday School
at 11:45, Fellowship Picnic at Noon, Worship at

Pessimism is a contagious disease;
optimism is a miraculous medicine.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:
Pam Rowland will preview a VBS program
from Gospel Light called Son Sparks Labs a
Three Day Adventure. This would be a three
day VBS rather than the traditional week-long
program. Pam would like input, suggestions or
anything else that you can think of in regard to
VBS. Please call Pam @ 353-8025 or email
[email protected] or talk to Pam in
person.
INTRODUCING THE LIFE YOU’D
GLADLY STAND IN LINE FOR
JUNE 28- AUGUST 9 --Sermon series on “The
Gospel According to Starbucks” by The Rev. Dr.
Len Sweet.
You don’t stand in line at Starbucks® just to
buy a cup of coffee. You stop for the
experience surrounding the cup of coffee. Too
many of us line up for God out of duty or guilt.
We completely miss the warmth and richness
of the experience of living with God. If we’d
learn to see what God is doing on earth, we
could participate fully in the irresistible life that
he offers. You can learn to pay attention like
never before, to identify where God is already
in business right in your neighborhood. The
doors are open and the coffee is brewing. God
is serving the refreshing antidote to the
unsatisfying, arms-length spiritual life–and he
won’t even make you stand in line. Let Leonard
Sweet show you how the passion that
Starbucks® has for creating an irresistible
experience can connect you with God’s stirring
introduction to the experience of faith.
