Description
The EMEA Community Affairs (CA) team is part of the UBS & Society team and
also the EMEA COO Office. The EMEA CA team oversees and helps deliver the
Community Affairs programme across the region, centred out of London. The
EMEA Head is now leading on a review of CA programmes globally and
developing a global CA programme. For 6 months the team has a requirement
to assist in these two projects, in particular undertaking Project Management
under guidance on the review, and also helping deliver the EMEA CA
programme and in particular the Comms requirements and components. This is
a very significant role with varied responsibility, an excellent opportunity for a
strong candidate to gain insight into Community Affairs and the UBS & Society
initiative, and to balance Project Management and programme delivery. The
role reports into the EMEA Head of CA, and has dotted reporting lines to Senior
EMEA Team members.
EMEA Project and Community Affairs Manager
The EMEA CA team is responsible for the CA programme in EMEA. It is also
leading a review of CA programmes globally and the development of a global
CA programme.
The team are responsible for ensuring that the EMEA CA regional programmes
achieve CA objectives and comply with UBS Policy requirements. As part of UBS
& Society the department is also charged with integrating CA in the region with
the broader UBS & Society programme and in particular leading a review of CA
activities, policies and programmes globally, ultimately to underpin them better
and drive greater coherence and consistency. The EMEA team is also
responsible for developing a global CA proposal as part of the UBS & Society
programme over the next few months.
Role
Responsibilities

Project Manage, under supervision, a review of all Community Affairs
programmes globally:
Ensure that data is collected, consistency reviewed and analysis undertaken
of all major aspects of the regional CA programmes to include:
o Impact Measurement framework: targets; inputs, outputs; impact
o CA Partnership management and process from application, due
diligence, through approval to management, assessment and reporting
o CA EV management and process from target-setting, planning and
delivering activities, promotion, delivery, assessment and reporting
o CA Financial Management and reporting including allocation process,
due diligence, disbursement, tracking
o CA Comms management and execution internally and externally
including integration, media channels, focus, engagement and

Support EMEA CA to deliver on-going Comms, execution and planning
internally and externally
Other support to EMEA CA programme as required: e.g. Partner and
Volunteer Management
Team working across a wide area
Project Management skills and experience
Hands on experience of Project Management and Comms activities
Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders, the ability to
move fast, running multiple streams, sensitively handled
An understanding of Community Affairs
An ability to analyse and present the results of data analysis
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent influencing skills and an ability to work effectively in a matrixed
organisation
Practical, pragmatic and delivery-focussed
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and other Project Management tools
Fluent English
