Flying High with Qantas
Secure Parking is proud to announce that we have joined
forces with Qantas to become the exclusive parking partner of
Qantas Frequent Flyer - Australia’s largest loyalty program. The
partnership will provide Secure Parking with the opportunity to
introduce a range of parking offers including earning Qantas Points
to the program’s 7 million members.
The partnership was launched in 2014 and gives Frequent Flyer
members the ability to earn Qantas Points every time they make a
booking via Secure-a-Spot, and new Monthly Parkers will be able
to earn up to 20,000 Points when they sign-up for an account.
Secure Parking is working with Qantas to develop a range of new
initiatives that will provide customers with even more opportunities
to earn Qantas Points.
Secure Parking CEO Garth Mathews said “The partnership
with Qantas offers huge opportunities for us to expose the Secure
Parking brand to millions of Frequent Flyer Members and provide
them with the opportunities to earn points whilst they park. It’s
just one of the ways we are looking to value-add the service we
offer to our customers.”
Growing the Secure Parking footprint in the United Kingdom
When Secure Parking ventured into the United Kingdom in
2010, we were confident we could make a positive impression
in a Parking Industry which was dominated by well-established
operators and from the outset we took on the challenge of managing
one of London’s busiest car parks – 4,500 bays at Westfield
London. Soon to follow was assisting with the launch of Westfield
Stratford and its operations during the London 2012 Olympics.
Landlords and owners see Secure Parking as bringing a fresh,
innovative and responsive approach to the UK market. Our key
selling point has been our ability to increase revenues through
aggressive marketing strategies and this has been highlighted by
the success of the Bloomsbury Square car park where revenues
have raised by over 30% in an 18 month period.

In recent months, the Secure Parking Team in London have
added deals with the University of Greenwich, NHS Clacton
& Halstead and the Thomas More Square car park in Central
London,to grow our car park portfolio to 16 car parks comprising
more than 13,000 bays across London, Liverpool, Essex and
Northampton.
In 2015, the Secure Parking Team are looking to expand into
other major UK cities including Birmingham and Coventry and
expand our operations into new markets including the Hospital,
University and Local Authority sectors.

NEWS AND INFORMATION FROM Secure Parking
Playing a part in the Community
As a major parking operator, Secure Parking plays an important
role in the day-to-day operations of our major cities and we believe
we also have a responsibility to support the communities that we
serve. Over the past few years, Secure Parking has been actively
involved with a range of charities, local sporting teams and
community groups to ensure that we can make a difference to
causes that we are passionate about.
Whether it’s offering free parking for the families of Veterans
on Anzac Day or making substantial donations to charities such
as Camp Quality, the Starlight Foundation and the Victor Chang
Cardiac Research Institute, supporting local sporting groups
including Manly and Warringah Rugby teams, Carlton AFL team,
the Herald Sun Cycling Tour, or sponsoring events including
Sydney Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival and Melbourne Arts
Festival, Secure Parking is proud to play a part in the communities
in which we operate.
CEO Brett Mathews said “It’s important for a business to
recognise that by involving yourself with the community you can
make a difference. There are many areas of society that require
assistance from Big Business and I am proud that the entire team
at Secure Parking gets behind a number of causes.”
Growing the Secure-a-Spot network
In the 18-months since Secure Parking launched Secure-aSpot – our online booking service for parking – our network of
car parks offering the Secure-a-Spot service has grown to over 90
sites across Australia. Thousands of customers every day are taking
advantage of the guarantee of a parking spot at a highly discounted
parking rate available through Secure-a-Spot.
Secure-a-Spot has already addressed one of the key challenges
that has affected the Parking Industry. “Up to now, we never knew
any details of our off-peak customers” said Andrew Sapir. “With
the Secure-a-Spot booking system, we capture the details of all
users and can communicate new parking offers or promotions to
them.”
To further increase sales during the summer period, Secure
Parking promoted Secure-a-Spot via a 30 second TV commercial,
which aired across Australia. These were run in conjunction with
the Sizzling Summer Book & Win Bonanza where customers had
the chance to win a range of prizes with every booking they made.
The Secure-a-Spot network is expected to continue to expand
throughout 2015 and a range of new innovations associated with
the product will be introduced in the near future.
The product is proving most popular when used in conjunction
with the major events in each city such as rock concerts, sporting
events and festivals. With Weekend and Evening Parking during
the recent Christmas period as low as $5 in Brisbane and
Melbourne, large volumes of shoppers headed into the CBD to do
their shopping instead of their local mall.
Secure Parking’s Corporate Marketing Manager Andrew Sapir
said “In recent years, public perception that parking was expensive
was a large barrier to people using parking for social activities.
Cheaper prices for parking available through Secure-a-Spot that
are communicated to the market via Social Media has meant the
message has spread rapidly and we are now experiencing car parks
reaching close to their capacity on evenings and weekends.”

Going mobile with GoSecure
In a world where individuals are becoming increasingly more
reliant on their smartphone to provide them with access to just
about anything, the Parking Industry is no different.
Over 50% of visits to the Secure Parking website in 2014
came from a mobile device as people look for information whilst
they’re on-the-go. To ensure, we are addressing the needs of our
customers, Secure Parking is focussing its attention on a range of
mobile based solutions.
Leading this charge is our new mobile app – GoSecure – which
is available for both iOS and Android devices. It’s the perfect tool
to help customers find the cheapest and closest car parks to their

Joining forces with TKH
Secure Parking has joined forces with TKH Group, one of
Europe’s leading parking technology developers. The partnership
will focus on delivering more cost effective and responsive
Control Room solutions and the collective knowledge of both the
technology and the Parking Industry will ensure the development
of new parking solutions that challenge traditional car park models.
In addition to improving efficiencies within a car park, TKH’s
product suite can be extended to other areas of a property such as
building access and security, property maintenance and help desk
support.
Secure Parking’s CEO – Garth
Mathews said “We are excited to team
up with TKH Group. Over the last few
years we have met many technology
solution providers and none matched up
the potential that TKH demonstrated in
improving efficiencies and creating a real
competitive edge over current equipment
providers.”
We’ve got the market wrapped
An innovative way to create awareness about Secure-a-Spot has
been launched in Melbourne with the introduction of the Customer
Ambassador Program in which our customers spread the word to
the market.
The Melbourne team offered customers 12-months of reserved
parking in return for having their car wrapped with Secure-aSpot advertising. There are now five Customer Ambassador’s
cars roaming the streets and they have become a regular sight in
Melbourne’s CBD.
Victorian General Manager Scott Rush said “A car is a
valuable asset, so it was important we came up with a design that
communicated the benefits of Secure-a-Spot without damaging the
aesthetics of the car.” Scott added “The Customer Ambassador
program is already proving to be successful in creating awareness
as it has a talking point in most of my meetings. We are also
fielding a number of new requests from customers wanting to join
the Customer Ambassador Program.”
