Ultraviolet Spectrum Aqueous acid—252 (A11 =3.7a), 258 (A11 =4.6a), 264 nm (A11 =3.6a). Infrared Spectrum Principal peaks at wavenumbers 1175, 1721, 1052, 874, 1072, 709 cm−1 (Nujol mull). M Account Disposition in the Body Poorly absorbed after oral administration. About 90% of an oral dose is eliminated in the faeces and <10% is excreted in the urine. After IV administration, about 40% of a dose is excreted in the urine. Halflife Plasma halflife, about 8 h. Protein Binding About 10%.
