Required to cover the fixed costs of the club operations (e.g.: insurance, hangar rental, etc.). • Hourly wet operating rates to cover cost of aircraft maintenance and fuel (2014): o C172 $98.22 / hour o Archer $90.61 / hour Note: Must fly minimum 3 hours per quarter. This is the basic process: 1. Visit our website www.bvifc.org to with the club president or other member to learn more and/or come to a monthly club meeting and see what we’re about. 3. Complete application and obtain a FAA and DMV record check. 4. Bring application, application fee, and records check to an interview with club board members. 5. Upon notification of eligibility to join, a club checkout will be accomplished with the safety officer at which time the initiation fee is due. 6.
