Panel Description
Whether you're thrifting your costume or constructing from scratch...
we all need to know our basics! With this class, I'll walk you through
the breakdown of the sewing machine and what each part does to
help you construct your masterpiece! I'll compare/contrast top
patterns from Vogue, Simplicity, Butterick and even some less
known ones such as Burda and New Look. From there we'll discuss
some basics about fabrics....which should you choose and why
some are not as popular as others. There'll be time for a Q&A so
that everyone can leave a satisfied participant.
So the tough question remains: what will happen after MLP reaches
its last season? This panel confronts the question, knocks it out cold
and reminds fans that there’s still plenty of pony fun beyond the last
season of generation four. Fan continuations? Possible official spinoffs? Join us for an engaging discussion about plans beyond the
last season.
Want a dress form to help build costumes but can't afford the
$250-$600 for one? Why not make your own? We will be teaching
you how to make your own forms out of nothing but duct tape and a
tee-shirt. Materials will be provided for the first four people free. After
that, this workshop will cost $15. In return, you will receive duct tape,
tee-shirt and written instructions. If you would like to bring your own
materials, you will need 2 large rolls of duct tape and a baggy teeshirt. We will be providing written instructions for those that want to
do the workshop but can't for $3.
Bronies are a very interesting phenomenon that has not only baffled
people outside of the fandom but people that are Bronies
themselves. Join Paleo as he goes over a variety of perspectives
from the fandom. Who knows? Maybe you'll learn something new!
Brony Breakdown is a livestream podcast hosted on EverFreeRadio
featuring Paleo and Saberspark. In the show, they discuss news and
content of the week as well as take questions from the audience,
though the live panel version has a slightly different spin on it. At this
panel, Paleo will be hosting it along with his friend Craig.
Brony Fan Fair Chairman Peter C. Jiang takes your questions on
what it's like to run the first My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
convention in the state of Texas. Learn more about BFF's creation,
its organization, and its adorable mascot, Rising Star!
What do you want to see in a pony game? There are many great
custom games in the brony fandom thanks to the high level of
creativity within the community. Game developer and character artist
Jesse Sosa holds a round-table discussion where attendees will talk
about game design and discuss what they'd like to see in a pony
game.
Interested in communications, narrowcast media coverage, radio
DJing, and how it all applies to Bronies? Then come join Brony
station Celestia Radio as they talk about all things music, ponies,
and swag in this communications panel outreach. Including special
Q&A with Celestia Radio members KBrony, Qcom, and Shamrock.
A discussion about gender, fandom, and why bronies matter, for
better or for worse.
It's like getting to act out a darker episode of the show, except the
players get to write the outcome! This is based off of the party game
"The Werewolves of Millers Hollow"/Mafia. Changelings are ravaging
Ponyville!! Are you a bad enough dude to retake Ponyville? This is a
game of tactics and wit.
Let us know what you think about the convention! Good or bad, we
want to know how your experience was and if there is anything we
would've done to improve.
Part fashion show and part costume contest, the Brony Fan Fair
Cosplay Contest showcases the best of the MLP inspired and nonMLP inspired costumes of the convention! Awards will be given out
and many pictures to be taken!
Do ponies drive you to drink? Or do they just drive you to drink like
you mean it? Come find out if you have what it takes to drink an
Irishman under the table (or have fun watching us all try) in this
special segment of the MLP Drinking Game. Anyone's invited to
watch, 21 and up only for the drinking.
PonyKart spotlights several fanmade games inspired by MLP.
Improve your pony drawing skills by learning how real equines are
put together! This panel will cover equine anatomy, biomechanics,
and breed types; all things that will take your pony art to a whole
new level.
Ponies are awesome. Part moving speech, part motivating
workshop, this panel will show you how you can give back to our
amazing community by starting your own awesome project.
General Zoi shows off upcoming features for the pony creator and
answers your questions!
Brony Fan Fair Guests of Honor appear on this panel to talk about
anything with no limits!
Learn the basics of pony anatomy and construction drawing with the
host of the Drawponies show, Neil Wacaster. No matter what your
experience level, come to learn tips and tricks to make your
drawings dazzling!
A friendly, civil discussion of diversity, social justice, netiquette, and
what it all means to be a part of the MLP community! Learn what
Molly Hardney, Peter C. Jiang, General Zoi
others think about social controversies in the Brony fandom and how
we can work together to make the fandom look decent to outsiders!
In this panel, we customize your experience at Brony Fan Fair in a
Brony Fan Fair
reverse Q&A.
Contestants and Artists alike are pulled to draw random pictures at
the audience's Whims! Players have to draw together and compete
on teams. Subject matter is chosen by the audience but may not
Chris Holm
come out as they expect. Anything is possible and the results are
unimaginably hilarious. Results will always be 20% cooler then what
you think.
This is where the magic happens! Come meet the the team behind
The Vinyl Scratch Tapes, see how they got their start, and get some
Midnight Magic Productions
of the first looks at brand new projects they have planned for the
next year.

to popular makeup artists! There'll be time for a Q&A where panel
participants can ask questions they might have!
Brony Fan Fair's banquet soiree is an opportunity for you to mingle

entertained by a string quartet. Tickets cost $30 and if that's not

here to answer your questions!
You know it. We know it. Being in a room where everyone is singing
the same song is one of the most fun experiences you'll ever have.
What could be more fun? How about singing songs from My Little
Pony: Friendship is Magic?
The administrator of the Austin Bronies Facebook group, Michael
Kanarski, gives a basic lesson on how to successfully design your
OC. The presentation will be followed by questions from the
audience.
Come together to swap your old goods for new treasures! Anything

art. Not restricted to MLP theme.
The Brony Chronicles is a completely fan-made documentary series
about My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and its fans, including
such talent as Saberspark, General Mumble, TommyXe and more to
help create the series. Join Paleo as he describes what "The Brony
Chronicles" are all about and tells about his journeys with
Saberspark to Bronycon and Everfree Northwest, interviewing many
talented bronies in the community for the project. During this panel,
there will be a sneak preview of the upcoming documentary and

The Vinyl Scratch Tapes go LIVE! Come see an episode live, ask
questions, get answers, and prepare to laugh your flank off as the
cast and crew of TVST come to Austin!
So what is this whole brony phenomenon about? Friends and family
members of bronies may find the fandom more complex than they
ever expected, but with a little help from knowledgeable bronies,
those who are unfamiliar with the My Little Pony craze can have
their questions answered and learn about ponies in the process.
Come on over and ask away!
Ever wondered what the process is like for voice acting in pony
projects such as fan animations, comic dubs, and radioplays? This
panel will show how to get started, tips and tricks, and a chance to
ask questions or get a voice request from your favorite pony.
While you might think this is the panel where we debate the age old
question, the "Who is Best Pony?" panel at Brony Fan Fair is a
game designed specifically for audience involvement and
entertainment! We pit two random MLP characters in a random
competition and get two audience members to build a case for the
character they represent. Based on the arguments made, YOU
decide the winner by round of applause.
Prepare for two hours of some of the funniest improvisation this side
of Canterlot! Inspired by “Whose Line is it Anyway?” this show adds
pony elements to many party games such as “Questions Only,
Moving Ponies, Superponies, Helping Hooves,” and a few custom
games such as “Cockatrice.” The games are all about audience
participation and there will be a quick instructional segment to teach
audience members the basics of improv. So give it a shot and show
us your skill!
