Pre-Conference
Business Incubation and Acceleration Boot Camp
Sunday, September 20, 2015
Sheraton on the Falls
Niagara Falls, Ontario
These sessions are designed to equip your “toolkit” with ideas, resources and a network of support in order to ensure the best
development of your business incubation/acceleration program. CABI has gathered industry professionals who will provide you with
invaluable examples of the best methodologies, practices and templates currently used in Canadian business incubation/acceleration
programs. There will be many opportunities for group interaction and discussions on any topics of importance to you.
CABI’s goal for this boot camp is to create a network of business incubation/acceleration professionals to share information, and
provide you with ideas to implement in your program. You will also receive a resource memory stick filled with examples of documents
and templates that have been vetted over time to reflect today’s Canadian best practices.
This session is for those who are interested in exploring the opportunity to develop a business incubation/acceleration program in their
community, a university or college campus, and/or a science park. This full-day session will take participants through all the necessary
steps for the development of a business incubator/accelerator program, from determining the feasibility and business case through
successfully operating the facility.
