that you already have some seed
bead experience, specifically that
you know Right Angle Weave
(RAW) and basic thread handling.
If you do not, please talk to us
about other patterns, classes, and
books that can teach you how .
Materials
You will also need
7 22mm Flat Lucite flower
beads
7 4mm Crystal bicones
7 6mm Metal filigree bead
caps
>2g 11° Seed Beads
2 Wire Protectors
Chain – Example uses 12"
Clasp of your choice
1 or 2 Jump rings
Size 11 Beading needle
OneG Beading thread
Beading mat
Triangle tray
Scissors/Thread Zap Tool
Two chain nose pliers

 Leaving a 12” tail, pick up 4 seed beads and tie them into a circle. Pass the
needle through two beads. This is the first RAW unit.

 Complete another RAW unit.
 Pass thread through the RAW unit again so the thread is coming up
through the left bead of this unit.

 Pick one flower, one bead cap, one bicone, and one seed
bead (this is the flower stack). Skip the seed bead, and go
back down through all of the other beads just added.
 Pass the needle up through the right seed bead of the
RAW unit, snugging the flower stack down to the RAW
unit.

 Make 5 RAW units. Add the flower stack to the fifth unit.
Note:
Make sure the flower stacks are all on the same side of the RAW base.
 Repeat the last step until you have seven flowers.
o After the last flower stack is added, complete only one more RAW unit.
 Attach the thread protector and chain. Reinforce.
 Attach the second thread protector with the original tail thread. Reinforce.
 Attach the clasp with jump ring(s.)

Note: Due to the styling and construction of this necklace, it should be worn short (near your
collarbone). If worn longer, the flowers will tip forward, and the necklace will not lie properly.
The floral section of the necklace is 4 1/2" long. Adjust the amount of chain for a proper fit.
