six-step process - We love what we do. And so will you.

Callard’s Six-Step Global Sourcing Process
Decades of successful overseas sourcing have proven that our six-step process works.
The entire order can take 30 to 120 days, depending on the level of customization and freight delivery
preferences. At the end, you’ll be delighted with both the final result and the ease of the experience!
Step 1: Get it Started.
The first step in global sourcing is a promotional product plan. To begin with, we will ask you to
provide as much background as possible. Detailed and early understanding of your needs, along with
our expert knowledge in trends, existing products and comparable budgeting, will get the project off to a
winning start.
Step 2: Get it Designed.
The next step is all about the possibilities global sourcing opens up. We’ll walk you through our recommendations and provide conceptual drawings, prototype modeling and materials. If you choose an
existing item, we will provide a sample free of charge. If you decide to go custom, we will guide you
through those additional steps after the proposal review.
Step 3: Get it in Writing.
Step three is a written proposal. You’ll receive it 24-48 hours after your design approval, depending on
the level of customization involved. We’ll also include freight charges and schedules based on your
timeline and needs.
Step 4: Get It into Pre-Production.
Once the written proposal is approved, we will put the best manufacturer on the job. A pre-production
sample will be made to your specifications. This sample, which will exactly match the actual finished
product, will be sent to you for your review and approval. The project won’t move forward without your
say-so.
Step 5: Get It Produced and Shipped.
Now it’s time to produce your order. We’ll determine a production schedule based on quantities, product
and time of year and hold our factories to this schedule. Certified inspectors will double-check quality
during production while we work with expert freight forwarders to coordinate shipment. You’ll be kept
informed every step of the way.
It usually takes two days to pack your order, get it to port and complete and file the appropriate paperwork. Goods set sail within two days and are 16-25 days in transit, depending on the size of the
shipment. We’ll handle the pre-clearance, customs and final clearance paperwork in the US office.
Step 6: Get It Delivered.
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for: final delivery! Once freight is cleared through customs,
it will be brought to our warehouse, repacked, palletized and taken by truck or rail to you door. If you
choose rail, we will coordinate final delivery to your destination. If you prefer, we can also arrange for
your third-party carrier to pick up the freight after it clears customs and deliver it to your location.
Final payment is due when the goods are received.
