The Officers and Board of Directors of CWCMA and NICE thank you for your continued support to the
organizations. This will be the 5th consecutive year that both groups have joined together for the annual
conference. The 2014 joint conference was so well received that we have reserved the same meeting space for the
2015 conference, at Bally’s Las Vegas June 17 – 19, 2015.
The board of Directors for CWCMA and NICE are both committed to providing members, attendees, sponsors
and business partners with a rewarding, beneficial and affordable conference. This is the 2nd consecutive year at
Bally’s and with that 2 year commitment room rates are locked in and start at only $62.00 per night. Room blocks
are limited and when they are gone, the rates may increase as we have no say in the overage rates that Bally’s will

The CWCMA and NICE Board of Directors have approved the schedule for 2015. Ali Nahangi, 1st Vice President
for CWCMA and Phil Schroder, 1st Vice President for NICE are planning the speakers and topics at the 2015
conference. They have built such a robust program that our sessions will begin on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at
3:00. New for 2015 there will be 2 pre-conference sessions that you won’t want to miss. Additional information on
the topics are on page 3.
The 2014 roundtable and panel discussions were so informative that Ali and Phil have included them in the 2015
conference. If you have any topics you would like to have included, please reach out us. All topics are subject to
change. All topics and speakers will be updated on www.cwcma.org and www.nicex.org as they are confirmed.

Registration for the 2015 conference is now open. Active CWCMA and NICE members save a minimum of $50.00
per registration. Registration rates begin at $249.00 for members. For a complete list of rates see page 4.
Our annual conference provides each attendee with the opportunity to network with others in the industry, be
it people who work for a newspaper or people who support the industry. The value you will receive for your
registration fee is well worth the investment. CWCMA is committed to providing you with at least one new idea
or concept that you can take away. There is something for everyone in audience, circulation, distribution and
operations. No matter what your publication calls it, we have a program that you will benefit from.
Having never been to a CWCMA/NICE Conference before, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when I
attended this year’s conference. Being new to the role of a “Circulation Director”, I couldn’t wait to hear
what challenges, successes, failures and such that my peers were experiencing. As expected, networking
was great, and I now have contacts that I can utilize throughout the year.
I feel that the 2014 CWCMA/NICE Conference in Las Vegas was a huge success this year. I came
back with a binder full of material, and a head full of ideas and inspiration. Let me tell you, I was NOT
