If necessary, additional time can be booked following the initial package. During consultation, we work out an individual study strategy with the client based on his or her needs. This often means starting by examining the goals and career wishes of the students. We analyse their practical feasibility as well as the strengths and weaknesses of students with their goals in mind. Besides this, we draw up a career planning schedule and identify what additional qualifications may be necessary or advantageous. These might be, for example, internships or project work (gap year), attaining further language skills or other key qualifications. Campusmondi then also puts together – with the client – the necessary application documents, a meaningful CV, etc. Another important element of our advisory services is choosing the right type of university and the country of study. The objective here is to find and realise a course of studies that fits in with the client’s individual needs and, of course, achieve success in those studies. We naturally offer support with university applications, funding matters or other challenges facing families in their higher education planning. If required, we also provide students with coaching in how to optimise their learning skills. Finding a specific university (see below) is not part of the advisory package but can be booked as a separate module if the need arises. University Selection Taking the individual outcomes from the consultancy phase, for example, our Master consultation or regular counselling package, we propose specific courses of study and universities that can fulfil the study wishes of the client and where we also expect an application to be successful. This module always focuses on one area of study only, for example, the economic sciences. If the student wants to pursue another subject, medicine for instance, this means concluding a separate agreement for this selection process. Both Directors of Campusmondi can look back on decades of experience working in the international education market and enjoy excellent contacts to universities worldwide. They possess detailed knowledge about study opportunities and specialisations, study programs, application deadlines and other particularities of renowned universities in Europe and overseas. We pass on the benefits of this experience to our clients in this module. It is vital, of course, that applicants also actively support the university selection process and participate in our research efforts. This module is not bookable as a single service, but always in conjunction with choosing a study orientation, our counselling package or our Master consultation. This way, we can make sure that the university selection is based on the right foundations and that the application process will be effective. M a s t e r C o n s u ltat i o n Our advisory service here aims to accompany students and support them in being accepted for the Master’s Degree that they are aiming for. There is no time limit in this module, but the service is limited to two application processes; any further applications will then be charged on an hourly basis. In the Master Consultation module, we work with our clients to develop an effective strategy for a successful application, provide advice on individual and suitable courses of study as well as on how to best prepare for a Master degree in general. We check the application documents and the individual qualifications of the Bachelor graduates and address all conceivable questions that may arise in connection with graduate studies. Special emphasis is given here to an in-depth discussion of specific courses of study, any possible prerequisites and the goals connected with achieving a Master qualification. In this part of the module, we expect the clients to bring in their ideas and experiences from their Bachelor degree. The ideal starting point for beginning this consultancy process is about one year before the start of the intended Master program. The recommendation of specific universities (see above) is not included in this module, but can be booked as an additional service. On this basis, we work with the students to identify suitable fields of study, professions and career opportunities. Most schools fail to provide their students with opportunities to gain awareness of their own strengths and potential. In addition, there is often a lack of good quality study information or career orientation. Therefore, many secondary school graduates find it hard to make decisions about the right training/ education or the profession they want to pursue. During a session that lasts several hours and uses psychological test procedures, we help our clients to identify their own strengths, weaknesses and interests. We work together to find out how important this personality profile is for choosing the right courses of study and. Based on the findings of the seminar, we discuss any career plans of the students and make sure that they have a realistic picture of the profession and the implications on their private life. We also make sure that the career choice fits their interest and capabilities. At the end of this coaching session, we might recommend studying at a university or a university of applied sciences, but may also opt for studying in the dual system or a vocational training. At the end of the day, if requested, a concluding meeting can take place with the parents to discuss the seminar results and recommendations. Around ten days later, the client will receive a written summary of the orientation decision and the results of the coaching session via postal mail and e-mail. Please note that this seminar is not designed to replace the consultation package or the university selection module (see above). Y e a r - l o n g s u p p o rt We carry out this exclusive consultancy module with only a few students each year that we have become acquainted with during the Campusmondi consultation. As part of this module, we discuss study successes on a monthly basis and, if required, contact the university or lecturers to solve any problems or erase uncertainties. We offer assistance with any learning difficulties that might occur and provide advice on a wide range of study- and university-related matters. We keep an eye on time-scheduling, further qualifications and internships during the course of studies. As this module deals with very differing demands, it is charged on an individual basis depending on factors such as the study situation and the chosen university. In this module, the consultant becomes a mentor who the student can turn to at any time.
