KAMIK® FOOTWEAR EXPANDS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING TEAMS
Five New Employees Bring Abundance of Industry Experience to Established Footwear Brand
MONTREAL – August 1, 2014 – Kamik®, a division of Genfoot Inc. and leading innovator in the footwear industry,
announced the expansion of the product development team and marketing department to support the growth of the
company in 2014 and beyond. The new additions are part of a broader expansion effort as Kamik looks to build out its
footprint worldwide.
A senior designer, product developer, and two product managers kick off the expansion of the product
development department, creating a well-rounded team that will work closely to ensure seamless execution of all facets
of the product development process. In addition, the marketing department is growing to support the increase of new
business initiatives. The new hires include:

Louis-Martin Tremblay, Senior Designer – coming from a position of footwear head designer at ALDO Group,
Tremblay will create and execute innovative product and design solutions for Kamik’s upcoming footwear
collections

Charles Moffatt, Product Developer - brings seven years of shoe design and development experience at Sugi
Canada Inc. to his new position at Kamik where he will guide industrial strategy, ensuring timely production
completion and conducting manufacturing partners evaluation analysis

Annie St-Denis, Product Manager - previously a product line developer with over seven years of experience
at Wolverine Worldwide, St-Denis will analyze brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product
trends in the marketplace and develop marketing strategies for Kamik based on research and analysis

Davide Degano, Product Manager –previously an account manager and product developer at ALDO Group,
Degano will work closely with Kamik product developers and designers to manage, develop, and implement
marketing activities to maximize Kamik’s impact on the marketplace

Caroline Piché, Communications Marketing Manager - previously account director at ZIP Communication,
Piché will create, implement and oversee company-wide communications strategies surrounding new
product launches and business initiatives

Three-Season Neoprene Boots Feature Kamik’s Patented Technology
MONTREAL – August 6, 2014 – Kamik®, a North American manufacturer and leader in outdoor footwear, launched its
brand new Elements neoprene boot collection at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, Utah today.
The three-season boots for men and children are built at the company’s Littleton, New Hampshire factory using Kamik’s
patented technology. Initially previewed at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market, the Elements Collection will be hitting
retail in the coming weeks.
Kamik’s new neoprene boots are 100% waterproof and feature the company’s exclusive RubberHe technology.
RubberHe is a Kamik-developed, recyclable, PVC-free synthetic rubber that’s 50% lighter than natural rubber, up to 30%
lighter than other synthetic rubbers and provides great traction and a light step in any weather, while also being flexible,
comfortable, durable and abrasion-resistant. The all-weather outsoles grip snow, ice and mud, dispersing water and
slush. Shoppers only need to purchase one boot to protect against fall, winter and spring’s elements.
The Stormin’ and Bluster children’s neoprene boots feature weather handles that allow for easy on and off,
adjustable weather collars that keep the elements out and lock in heat, and Kamik’s Easy Grab Lace Lock that makes it
easy to adjust the boot with or without mittens. Designed to worn from September through April, kids only need one
pair of boots for the entire school year. A variety of colors and bright patterns adorn the collection, available in kids
sizes 10 – 7 for $77.99 to 79.99 (USD).
Kamik’s men’s neoprene boots keep outdoorsmen comfortable from sunrise to sundown. The lightweight
Coldcreek boot features an adjustable weather collar, fold down orange safety collar, oil and acid resistant shell,
moisture-wicking air mesh and fleece lining, back heel kick, and anti-bacterial insole to help fight unwanted odors after
long days. The men’s boots in this collection are available in sizes 7 to 14 in black, olive and camouflage for $119.99 to
$189.99 (USD).
At Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, Kamik will also be unveiling its new line of rain boots that are made in the
company’s Montreal factory. The 2015 rain collection is as stylish and eye-catching as it is durable and protective. The
upcoming women’s collection includes prints and colors inspired by nature yet designed for the urban jungle, making
them perfect for the woman who knows that it doesn’t have to be a beautiful day out to look great. The children’s rain
collection offers comfortable, protective, easy-to-wear boots with bright, fun color patterns that are sure to be kid
