Cancer Caregiver Education and Support Group

Cancer Caregiver
Education and
Support Group
The caregiver support group is a safe, welcoming environment to meet
other caregivers, receive emotional support, and learn information
relevant to the needs of caregivers. Each week is focused on a different
care topic, but there is also time for open discussion.
April 7: Why Caregivers Need Care Too
April 14: Signs of Caregiver Burnout
April 21: Coping With and Overcoming Unexpected Changes
April 28: Managing Caregiver Stress with Relaxation Techniques
Any caregiver, family or friend of a loved one who is diagnosed with
cancer is welcome to attend. The group is held every Tuesday from
3:00 – 4:30pm in Conference Room 3079.
This group is facilitated by Veronica Cardenas, Ph.D. and Caroline
Scheiber, MA.
