April 1, 2015 Dear Parents and Gymnastics Fans! Thank you for participating in the 2013 AAU Spring State Championships in Tampa, Florida at the Tampa Convention Center Parent Information:  Session times are very close together. Please arrive early enough to park, get into the Convention Center and find your athletes competition floor. This process usually takes 15 extra minutes.  Parking Fees range from $10.00 - $20.00 at the Convention Center or in one of the outside parking lots that are in walking distance to the Convention Center. Map enclosed.  The door fee will be $12.00/adult, $10.00/child (3yrs to 10 yrs old). Children under 2 are free of charge.  The results will be posted on Cando’s website by 5pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. www.candopsorts.org  There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby.  Please remember there will be NO flash photography as it is not SAFE for our athletes.  Amazing Photos will be taking pictures and they will available for purchase.  We will have a large vending area with meet t-shirts (Lightning City Gymnastics), face painting (Taylor Gymnastics) and a fund raiser hosted by TGD Booster Club selling flowers and Egyptian Cotton sheets for your shopping pleasure.  There will be 3 gyms competing simultaneously. Be sure you are aware of what Gym Floor you will be looking for before you get to the Convention Center.  The level 1’s, 2’s and Gym Achievers will be in The “Pinocchio” Gym A and the competition format is capital cup.  The Level 3’s, 5’s and Levels 8, 9, 10 will be in The “Jiminy Cricket” Gym B and the competition format will be traditional.  The Level 4’s, MO Advanced’s, and MO Intermediate will be competing in the “Gepetto” Gym C and the format will be capital cup.  The session that has “Z” division athletes in it will compete for the coveted All American which is awarded to the highest all around for each level and age group that is competing in the Z division only.
