Important Dates for JobReady Spring and Summer 2015
Please adhere to the following timeline for hosting JobReady internships in spring and
summer, 2015
Post your internship job descriptions to The Buckeye Careers Network (BCN)
Now - 12/15/14 (for spring internships)
Now - 4/6/15 (for summer internships)
*BCN is our “landing pad” for positions; post here only and we will post it on other participating
schools databases and market the internship opportunities to all career services offices, academic

Interview and select your interns
Now - 12/22/14 (spring internships)
Now - 4/20/15 (summer internships)
*Please ensure that students you plan to hire have enough time in their schedules to complete
the JobReady Training Modules and are aware of the JobReady program requirements, which can
be found on the student page of our website- http://www.careers.osu.edu/students/jobready/
Complete Internship Registration Form- http://go.osu.edu/JobReadyRegistration
Due no later than: 12/29/14 (spring internships)
Due no later than: 4/27/15 (summer internships)
When the student(s) accept your internship or co-op offer, complete the online registration form.
This must be completed at least 10 business days prior to the internship start date and no later
than the dates given above in order to avoid delay of payment.
Internship/Co-Op start and end date
~1/12/15 – 4/27/15 (spring internships)
~5/11/15 – 8/5/15 (summer internships)
*Deviations of more than two weeks from this start or end date should seek approval.*
Submit invoices to JobReady Team to receive your cost-share benefit
4/27/15 – 5/27/15 (spring internships)
8/5/15 – 9/5/15 (summer internships)
Upon completion of each student internship, you should invoice Ohio State University as the
fiscal agent of the grant cost-share agreement. The incentive to be offered is a cost-share of 30% of
up to the first $10,000 of a student’s wages. Expect to receive payment within 60 days of submitting
your invoice to the JobReady team.
