Arti Sadhwani`s Biography

Hi, my name is Arti Sadhwani and I am currently the VP Marketing of
CASACares, the charity wing of JMSB. If you’ve attended events like the
Movember Gala or the Fashion Show, then you’ve already experienced some of
the work I’ve had the privilege do.
I used to be the person that rolled out of bed in the morning and dragged myself
to school, only to rush home, so I could binge watch Netflix. I was the strange kid
who always seemed to come up with the “out of the box” ideas, and whose
awkward phase lasted way too long. Unfortunately, I was also the type of person
who let others decide what my future entailed.
It wasn’t till I got to university, that I decided to make a change. I joined
CASACares as their First Year Representative, and found myself surrounded by
inspirational people who understood me. I realized that my “out of the box” ideas
and creative strategies were something I could turn into a career. It was there
where I found my passion for marketing, what pushed me take control of my
university experience and make my mark on JMSB.
I am the type of person who will work all night, until I figure out that one glitch in a
program, the perfect shade to add to my designs or the best possible themes,
events and ideas to engage the most people. I am proud to say I am self-taught
in programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, WordPress and FinalCut
Pro. I believe creativity resides in everyone and hope to spread my knowledge of
these programs to all JMSB students, regardless of their major.
I look back and realize that marketing has always been a part of me. Today I’ve
found my place in mARkeTIng. Literally.
