It also prepares students to develop their abilities to reflect and analyze their practice and make appropriate judgments in the classroom for the benefit of learning. Duration Four years by normal duration and a minimum of three semesters for persons with a Diploma in Teaching or an Associate Degree. Entry Requirements Five (5) CSEC or O’level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and 3 Social Science subjects Diploma in Teaching Associate Degree in a specialized area Mode of Study The Bachelor of Education Degree is offered full-time for persons entering with CSEC subjects. The programme is also offered part-time for persons upgrading from a Diploma in Teaching or a specialized Associate Degree. Programme Structure The Bachelor in Education Degree is structured to prepare educators for the early childhood, primary, and secondary levels.
