Dear CASL Friend,
On Monday, April 20, CASL will take over Prestonwood Country Club for the 11th Annual CASL Golf Tournament
fundraiser. The course, which hosts the PGA Champions Tour’s SAS Championship later in the year, will be in pristine
condition at the start of the spring golf season.
Foursomes will enjoy a round of “Captain’s Choice” golf with a CASL staff member, board member, or coach at the
prestigious country club. Each registered golfer will also receive a tournament gift bag, complimentary on-course snacks
and beverages, entrance to the post-tournament reception, and access to on course games like longest drive and closest
to the pin.

This year has been a great year so far, and we look forward to carrying that momentum into the 2015 spring season. We
kicked off this year by hosting another successful charity soccer 4v4 in January, which raised $10,000 for the Kay Yow
Cancer Fund. We are preparing to embark on a much needed renovation to WRAL Soccer Park, which you will witness
during this spring and summer. And, we have launched new programs, like free recreational coach and player clinics, to
help improve our service to you and to continue growing the game. These exciting times at CASL are made possible
thanks to financial support from CASL families, corporate sponsors, and annual fundraisers like the golf tournament.
CASL is a 501c3 non-profit organization; therefore, much of your registration fee or sponsorship is tax-deductible. Funds
raised from this charity golf tournament will support financial aid for CASL players, soccer outreach initiatives, coaching
education at all levels, and facility improvements. Your participation in the golf tournament will ensure that we continue
to grow the game to all those interested and to improve the experience of our existing players and families.
