M.Ed – Chair of Trustees and Governors Our Ref: FH/JW 9th March 2015 Dear Parent/Guardian YEAR 7 PARENTS’ EVENING THURSDAY 26th MARCH 2015 – 5.00PM TO 8.00PM I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our Year 7 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 26th March from 5.00pm – 8.00pm. As our Parents’ Evenings are always well attended, an appointment system will operate. To help parents manage their appointment times we use an on-line booking system (please see the attached sheet for more details). Parents will need to book appointments on-line. The appointment system will open at 6.00pm on 16th March and close at 12.00pm on 25th March. If you do not have internet access please contact your child’s Head of Year. A copy of your appointments will be handed out with your child’s report. During the appointments teachers will discuss your son/daughter’s report and review their performance. To gain the most benefit from the evening we encourage your son/daughter to attend with you and to bring their planner with them. Teachers will be situated in the Butler Hall and nearby classrooms and pupils will be available to direct parents to the areas. You will be able to collect your child’s report at the Parents’ Evening and discuss the information with teachers, form tutors, myself and Mrs Briggs (Assistant Headteacher).
