SPRING Check Out
May 11th – May 15th
Residents are to vacate their rooms within 24 hours of their last exams
or by 9 am the day following of the last final examination.
Schedule Check Out Appointment:
1. Sign up on RA room door on desired time slot for a Check Out appointment.
2. Appointments will close at 10pm each day for the following day.
Spring Check Out Times:
Monday 5/11 to Thursday 5/14
Friday 5/15
9:00am to 6:30pm by Appointment Only
9:00am to 12:00pm by Appointment Only
After 1:00pm on 5/15 residents must call the RA On Call to make an appointment and be
placed in the Check Out Waiting List. Check Out Appointments must be made by 3:00pm.
Day of Check Out –
Be ready with the items below completed by Check Out Appointment Time:
1. Empty room of personal belongings. Don’t forget to take your Bike home.
2. Empty fridge, defreeze and unplug from wall outlet.
3. Take all the trash and unwanted items out of the room.
4. Clean room & restroom, including toilet/shower and kitchen (if applicable).
5. Sweep/Vacuum and mop all flooring.
6. Place thermostats to 78 degrees.
7. RA will meet you in your room at scheduled time.
8. Have parking permit, room and mail key ready to turn in.
***Last resident checking out will be responsible for overall cleanliness and
bathroom and fridge conditions.
Express Check Out:
If you do not wish to schedule a time for your RA to complete a check-out of your room,
you may complete an Express Check-Out. Follow all instructions on the Express Check-Out
envelope (available at the Front Desk or via the RA On Call) to complete that process
properly. Residents choosing Express Check-Out waive their right to contest damages and
charges assessed after departure.
Check Out Extensions and Graduating Seniors:
If you are unable to Check Out by Friday May 15th at 4:30pm you must contact your
Housing Coordinator by Wednesday, May 13th and meet with them in person to receive
approval for Check Out Extensions. Check Out Extensions are a request and not
guaranteed to all students, if you know you are in need of extra time, please contact the
Residence Life Staff immediately.
