SHOW RULES
- This show is an official ARBA sanctioned event and will be governed by the current show rules of the American
Rabbit Breeders Association, Inc. The filing of an entry from indicates the acceptance of these rules:
- All Rabbits must have a permanent and legible ear mark, cavies must have ear tags. Rabbits will be judged by
private ear number. Please make sure they are legible. Exhibitors may have their own earmarks, that is your
business but they don’t count.
- CLARCC will not be responsible for any loss or injury to animals or humans in case of fire, accidents, providential
destruction, poison ivy, insect bites, sunburn. Exhibitors and guests assume all risk of entering animals and being on
property.
- Exhibitors are responsible for getting their animals to and from the table. Breeds will not be re-judged because of late
arrivals. In order not to cause delays, classes will wait no longer than 3 minutes or 3 calls. and thanks you for your
donation in that event.
- CLARCC reserves the right to substitute judges, staff, officers, awards. Sorry, we can’t substitute exhibitors.
- Anyone causing a disturbance or intimidating a judges or staff will be removed from the showroom and their entries
forfeited. There will be no breeding of rabbits, or humans for that matter, in the show room.
- Entry fee must accompany entry or entry will be returned to the exhibitor. Any checks not clearing the bank will be
assessed a $35.00 fee and a really stern look.
- Children must be in the care of an adult to ensure they don’t disrupt exhibitors and their animals, no caging of
children is allowed, no matter how unruly they get.
- CLARCC reserves the right to ask ANYONE to leave the show area, and yes we do mean ANYONE!
- No alcoholic beverages in the showroom. At least not while the show is in session.
- No smoking in the showroom. Bedding and hay does not react well to fire….
- Sick animals should NOT be brought into the showroom. Sick animals will be removed from the showroom
and entry fees will be forfeited. Determination of “sick” will at the discretion of the show superintendant.
- Ribbons and awards must be picked up at the show as they will not be mailed. Postage costs too much..
- A youth MUST place rabbits for judging on the respective youth judging table. The animal will be disqualified if an
adult places the animal on the table. Exceptions will be granted for disabled youths, contact the show superintendant.
- Any exhibitor under the age of 5 years must show in OPEN class per ARBA rules.
- Carriers must have leak proof bottoms. If exhibitor leakage is anticipated, leak proof bottoms are also recommended.
- Carriers / Chairs / Grooming tables / For Sale boards / Children / Humans, etc. are to be placed in designated areas
only. Walkways will be indicated and need to remain clear of obstructions. Cage wire makes a really painful landing
place when you trip and fall.
- Any pets / animals other than rabbits or cavies should remain outside the show pavilion.
- Service animals are welcome but should be readily identifiable as such.
- Per ARBA show rules CLARCC reserves the right to refuse entries from exhibitors placing an entry from all
locations within 150 miles which has had a confirmed outbreak of RCV/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the
entry deadline.
