Cape Breton East Richmond Cursillo 26 March 2015 Message from Lay Director Hello Friends: Let's reflect for a moment on group reunion, one of the most important tools that allow us to continue our growth as Cursillistas. Perhaps the best way for me to do this is for me to reflect on my own group experience. We are a group of five men called "The Friends Of Jesus". We meet weekly at St. Anne's Church in Glace Bay and there we share on how we each continue to build on the encounters which began on our Cursillo weekend-encounter with self (Piety), encounter with Christ (Study), encounter with others (Action). We pray together, we share our successes and failures of the past week along with the importance of knowing that we are there for support to help each person in their walk with Jesus. Our focus is on the person, where we are in our relationship with God, how we nourished this relationship and how we will continue to nourish this relationship in the upcoming week. Much community/Cursillo activity naturally results from this and while very important, it is not the main focus of our group meetings. We are five men on a journey to Our Lord and we are blessed to have each other to help us grow on our journey. Happy Easter everyone.
