the empanelment as Inquiry Officer (IOs) for conducting departmental inquiries.
The eligibility criteria is given in the attached shed Annexure-I. The standard terms
and conditions of ONGC are as given below:
The emoluments consist of an all-inclusive ar..ount of '. 12,000/- + '. 1500/- as
Secretarial Assistance for a case involving a single officer. Additionally'.
10,000/1500/- as Secretarial Assistance is payable for each additional report/ charged
officer in the same case. The honorarium is likely to be revised shortly. In addition
outstation
accommodation
and transport
facility is provided by ONGC for
conducting the enquiry if it involves visit outside the Hqrs.j'place of residence of the
Inquiry Officer. The Inquiry Officer should be able to devote sufficient time for
conducting department
inquiries, in other words, he/she
should not be so
preoccupied with current occupation/other
duties that he/she can only spare a few
hours at a time at long intervals for the inquiry itself.

Basic Criteria for Selection:
1. Positions avaiiable tentatively at the locations:
Delhi, Dehradun, Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Chennai, Guwahati,
Kolkata, Hyderabad, Agartala, Shillong and Jaipur etc.
2. Qualification:
Degree in Science / Engineering from a recognized University. Candidates
having Master Degree and other professional nualification like MBA, LLB
will be given preference.

3. Experience:
Experience in Vigilance & D&A matters as class I/Group A in Central
Govt. and General Manager in Central PSU level for conducting at least
three Departmental Enquiries.

4. Age:
He should be conversant with the disciplinary procedures, conduct
rules of the Central Govt. / any PSU.
He should be conversant with the legal process, Indian Evidence Act
and HR matters.
