Cd Bag
1
Lay two DVDs and one CD in
a row, shiny side down, in this
order: DVD, CD, DVD. Overlap
them just a bit.
5
Make a row over top of the
first row, but in this order: CD,
DVD, CD. Make sure the row
overlaps the first row just a bit.
6
9
To connect all three rows, lay
three strips of duct tape going
the opposite way.
Fold the disks into the shape of a bag. Fold up nine disks, leave
a row of three on the bottom, fold up another nine disks, then
fold over the last three disks.
Make a third row
above the second row
in this order: DVD, CD,
DVD. All disks should
be overlapping slightly.
7
10
Repeat Steps 1 to 5 with more DVDs and
CDs—only this time, make it five disks across
instead of three. The pattern should be:
Top Row: CD, DVD, CD, DVD, CD
Middle Row: DVD, CD, DVD, CD, DVD
Bottom Row: CD, DVD, CD, DVD, CD
Turn the bag over so the
open sides are on the top
and the bottom of the bag.
Now that the pattern is
laid out, tape the DVDs
and CDs together. Lay
a strip of coloured duct
tape over each row.
Tape these new disks to the
three rows from Step 5. There
should now be eight disks
across the top.
You need to make a bottom
for the bag. Unfold the disks
on the table. Make a new
row of three disks and tape
them together.

Place the new row under the first
three rows of the bag on the left,
and tape them into place.
Insert a brass fastener right through
the top of the hole.
Fold up the bag, like in Step 8, but
this time also fold in the new row
to make the bag’s bottom. Tape the
bag together on the inside using
duct tape. What a shiny bag!
To Artzooka your bag even more,
use brass fasteners and protective
seals from milk or juice cartons.
To attach the seal to the bag, use a pencil to poke a hole through
the centre of one of the CDs. Insert the fastener and seal from
Step 15 into the hole and fold back the fastener’s prongs.
Make a strap for your bag using
binder rings and more protective
seals (just the ring part, though).
To attach the strap to the bag, open up a binder ring on one
end of the strap. Loop the ring through a seal on the side of
the bag (at the top), then close the binder ring. Attach the
other end of the strap to the other side of the bag.
Now that’s Artzooka!

Punch a hole in one
of the seals using a
hole punch.
Cover your entire
bag with seals and
fasteners so it looks
like the photo.
